Initially established as the Property Division at Hutama Karya in 1997. When the Indonesian economy recovered after the monetary crisis, this also had a positive impact on the national property industry. Simultaneously with this development, the Property Division at Hutama Karya is also growing until in 2010, Hutama Karya officially established its first subsidiary named PT HK Realtindo (HKR). Prior to its establishment in 2010, Hutama Karya owned a number of Asphalt Mixing Plants (AMP) in various places in Indonesia, as an added value which was quite profitable for Hutama Karya. In 2010, all the AMPs owned were collected under one management: PT Hakaaston (HKA). Along with the growth of the infrastructure market in Indonesia, HKA then has a bigger mission, which is to penetrate into a market that has not been touched by its parent company, namely manufacturing. HKA produces various manufacturing products such as asphalt concrete, emulsified asphalt, class A and B foundation aggregates, as well as rock burst for concrete mix. PT HK Infrastruktur (HKI) - Was established in 2015, as an important part of Hutama Karya's transformation agenda, after Hutama Karya received an assignment from the Indonesian Government to develop the Trans-Sumatera Toll Road. HKI comes from one of the divisions that has been operating in Hutama Karya for a long time, namely the Road & Bridge Division. The division was eventually spun off to become a subsidiary in order to obtain optimum benefits from the assignment of the Trans-Sumatera Toll Road which was carried out by Hutama Karya. Apart from working on several projects on the Trans-Sumatera Toll Road, HKI has also successfully worked on other strategic projects such as the Cinere-Jagorawi Toll Road and the Mojokerto-Kertosono Toll Road.
