HUTAMA KARYA PROVIDES ALTERNATIVE ROUTE AT FATMAWATI 2 TOLL GATE TO SUPPORT TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS BY DKI PROVINCIA

JAKARTA – PT Hutama Karya (Persero) (Hutama Karya) has expressed full support for the Jakarta Provincial Government’s traffic engineering trial along Jalan TB Simatupang – Jalan RA Kartini (from Simpang Susun Antasari to Simpang Lebak Bulus), which began on Monday (September 15) and will run through Friday (September 19) between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. local time.
To support the program, Hutama Karya has implemented special traffic arrangements on the JORR-S toll road, specifically at the Fatmawati 2 Toll Gate (GT). One additional lane on the far left has been opened and secured with rubber cones stretching approximately 900 meters to the Lebak Bulus/Pondok Indah Exit. This lane is designated exclusively for Class 1 vehicles entering from Fatmawati arterial road with destinations toward Lebak Bulus/Pondok Indah. Meanwhile, Class 2, 3, 4, and 5 vehicles are redirected via arterial roads to the Ciputat 2 Toll Gate.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to ensuring smooth mobility for the community around the JORR-S corridor and forms part of a collective effort to ease congestion in the TB Simatupang area. We are working closely with the Police and the Transportation Agency, including deploying personnel at critical points, to ensure that road users feel safe and well-served,” said Untung Joko Ristyono, Head of Hutama Karya’s Jakarta Regional Office.
Untung also emphasized the importance of active cooperation from road users for the success of this traffic engineering trial.
“We urge drivers to comply with signs and follow the directions of officers on site. With collective cooperation, this program can help improve traffic flow in and around the JORR-S toll road,” he added.
Hutama Karya apologizes for any inconvenience caused and advises toll road users to follow warning signs placed along the route while staying updated through Hutama Karya Toll Road’s official social media channels at @HutamaKaryaTollRoad.
