Subsidiaries and Affiliates

It was initially established as the Property Division at Hutama Karya in 1997. When the Indonesian economy recovered after the monetary crisis, it also positively impacted the national property industry. Along with this development, the Property Division at Hutama Karya is also growing until, in 2010, Hutama Karya officially established its first subsidiary, PT HK Realtindo (HKR).

Since its establishment, HKR has gradually continued to produce various innovative property products with high quality, such as H Tower Rasuna Said, H Residence MT Haryono, and Kubika Homy BSD.

Before its establishment in 2010, Hutama Karya had several Asphalt Mixing Plants (AMP) in various places in Indonesia as an added value which was quite profitable for Hutama Karya. In 2010, all AMP owned were collected under PT Hakaaston (HKA).

Along with the growth of the infrastructure market in Indonesia, HKA has a bigger mission to penetrate markets in the manufacturing sector that has not yet been touched by the holding company. HKA produces various manufactured products such as asphalt concrete, emulsified asphalt, class A and B foundation aggregates, and rockburst for concrete mix. Apart from manufacturing, HKA also trades asphalt and other cement products.

PT HK Infrastructure (HKI) was established in 2015 as an important part of Hutama Karya's transformation plan after Hutama Karya received an assignment from the Indonesian Government to develop the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road. HKI comes from a division operating in Hutama Karya for a long time, namely the Road & Bridge Division. The division was eventually spun off to become a subsidiary to obtain optimum benefits from the assignment of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road carried out by Hutama Karya. Besides working on several projects on the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road, HKI has also successfully worked on other strategic projects such as the Cinere-Jagorawi Toll Road and the Mojokerto-Kertosono Toll Road.

PT Jasa Marga Persero Tbk. (JSMR) together with PT Hutama Karya Persero and PT Waskita Toll Road formed a joint venture in the context of the concession of the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat toll road. On February 20, 2017, the deed of joint venture agreement for the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat toll road was signed and the deed of establishment of the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) PT Hutama Marga Waskita by the company (JSMR) Hutama Karya and Waskita Toll Road.
