HUTAMA KARYA CELEBRATES NATIONAL CUSTOMER DAY WITH ACTIVATIONS ACROSS TOLL ROADS
JAKARTA – To celebrate National Customer Day 2025, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) rolled out a series of customer appreciation activities across its toll road network, including Terbanggi Besar–Pematang Panggang–Kayu Agung, Palembang–Indralaya, Indralaya–Prabumulih, Bengkulu–Taba Penanjung, Betung–Jambi, Pekanbaru–Dumai, Pekanbaru–XIII Koto Kampar, Padang–Sicincin, Indrapura–Kisaran, Binjai–Pangkalan Brandan, Sigli–Banda Aceh, as well as JORR Seksi S and Tanjung Priok Access.
Executive Vice President Corporate Secretary of Hutama Karya, Adjib Al Hakim, highlighted that National Customer Day is a key moment to strengthen engagement and appreciation toward toll road users. “We organized interactive activities at rest areas and distributed special-edition merchandise as a token of appreciation to our loyal customers,” he said.
Booth activations were held at several rest areas, including Pekanbaru–Dumai (KM 45A), Terbanggi Besar–Kayu Agung (KM 234A), and Indrapura–Kisaran (KM 119), featuring photo booths, quizzes, and giveaways. Online, Hutama Karya launched a photo contest via its official social media channel, @HutamaKaryaTollRoad. Thousands of exclusive merchandise items such as e-money cards and limited-edition tumblers were distributed to customers at toll gates, with symbolic handovers carried out by company executives in selected locations.
More than a customer appreciation initiative, Hutama Karya emphasized the strategic role of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) in reducing travel time, improving logistics flow, and supporting regional economic growth. The company also reinforced its “Sumatra Sudah Dekat” campaign, reflecting JTTS’s impact in connecting communities and boosting local development.
Government officials and academics also underlined JTTS’s contribution to job creation and economic output during a talk show themed “Connectivity in Sumatra to Support Asta Cita and Customer Aspirations” at the University of Riau. According to the Ministry of Coordinating Infrastructure and Regional Development, JTTS could create 1.54 million jobs and add up to IDR 196 trillion to regional economic output.
Adjib concluded, “For us, customers are not just toll road users, but partners who grow with us. We are committed to continuously improving service quality so that our toll roads provide real value for daily life, economic activities, and stronger community ties.”
